Copyright and takedown
If you hold rights in an app we host and want it taken down, send a report here. It reaches an operator, not an automated system.
What we do NOT claim: we make no statement about safe-harbour status, we give no legal guarantee, we do not review every file in advance, and nothing is removed automatically by sending this form. A person reads your report and decides.
What actually happens
- Your report is recorded and given a reference you can quote. Keep it: the confirmation page is the only receipt we issue — we do not send one by email.
- An operator reviews it. If the card needs to come down while that happens, they place a legal hold: the page, the listings, the sitemap and the download all close at once. A hold is containment, not a decision that you are right.
- The operator either sustains the takedown or resolves the report without a block, recording why. Sustaining it stops us accepting that app's package at ingest from then on, together with the exact file hash and source URL where those are known — so it covers future releases of the same app, not only the one file reported.
- We aim to take a first action on a complete, credible report within 24 hours. An active malware or integrity problem is handled immediately.
Sending a knowingly false report wastes the time of the person reading it and can have consequences for you. Only send one about rights you actually hold or represent.
What we collect
Only what is needed to act and to reply: your name, an email address, optionally your organisation, and what you are telling us. We do not accept attachments — link to evidence instead. See the privacy page for how long we keep it.
